The company, which supplies staff nationwide across a wide range of sectors, has been operating for 16 years and turned over £41.7m in 2019-2020.

Richard said: “Back in 2005, I started Service Care Solutions – two phones, a corner desk in the back bedroom and a desire to create a long-term entity.

" I look back with pride to see just how far we have come to be the successful and sustainable business that we are today.

"Without the great people that I have had around me, this would not have been possible, so I thank everyone for this.

“After much thought and reflection, I feel that now is the right time to step away from my role as MD.

"I am incredibly fortunate to have found someone that I have total confidence in to take over the position – that person being Chris Musgrove.”

Richard added: “It is truly a great moment in my life to be able to hand this role over to someone with such integrity and aptitude.”

Richard will become chairman and will concentrate on strategic work with the Board of Directors, and Chris will take over the day-to-day running of the company.

“I owe both Service Care Solutions and Richard a tremendous amount and will be forever grateful for the opportunity I was given.

The company employs around 100 people and it supplies both temporary and permanent staff across the country.
