An ice cream maker has created the ultimate luxury dessert in a bid to raise cash for charity.
Colin Bleasdale, 42, of Farm Avenue, Adlington, near Chorley, came up with the ice cream with truffle honey and 24-carat gold-covered caramel in honour of the Royal Wedding today.
It is thought to be the most expensive ice cream in the world – costing £15 a cone.
But he also hopes it will raise cash for the Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution.
He is now appealing for someone to donate a sapphire ring for the ice cream.
Colin has also written to Guinness and hopes the price tag will land him in the record books.
