The Blackpool and North Lancaster rehoming centre has reopened for the purpose of rehoming dogs, despite lockdown restrictions in England.

The RSPCA tends to prioritise neglected, abandoned or mistreated dogs over unwanted pets which can be adequately cared for at their previous owners’ property.

Wolfwood wildlife and dog rescue

The wolfwood rescue centre cares for dogs with various degrees of neglect, abandonment and lack of skills.

It works hard to rehome dogs with owners who can meet each individual dog’s needs and the adoption process includes home visits and visits to the dog you wish to adopt at the centre.

All dogs taken from Wolfwood will be checked over by a vet, wormed, vaccinated, spayed/ neutered and microchipped and the staff will be available to offer support after you take your new dog home.
