Former students from a Chorley school travelled from around the world to for a reunion with pupils 25 years after they left.
More than 60 former pupils from the Southlands High School class of 1986 gathered at The Sir Henry Tate pub in Chorley town centre to catch up and swap stories of life after school.
Lorrayne Saunderson organised the event, with help from her friend Sara Liptrott. Sara said: “People travelled from Warrington, Wigan and London to attend the reunion and it was a really great fun.
“Louise Douglas, who was from Charnock Richard, moved to Texas about 15 years ago and she flew in just for the reunion.
“Lorrayne and our old classmate Mark Dougill made a speech to thank everyone for coming and there was a lot of heckling during the speech.
“Mark said that it is just like being at the back of the school bus in 1985!”
Sara and Lorrayne are hoping to repeat the event in another five years’ time to give those who went to the reunion the chance to catch up again and an opportunity for even more people to attend.
