A study has revealed the most expensive streets in Lancashire via house price over the last decade.

New data has revealed the most expensive roads in the county between 2010 and 2020, with a road in Rufford, Ormskirk, taking the acclaim for the county’s priciest.

Homes on Croston Road sold for an average of £3.34 million between 2010 and 2020, significantly more expensive than Franklin Hill in the gated Brockhall Village, Old Langho, Blackburn which took second spot after fetching an average price of £1.75m.

Homes in Lancashire sold for an average of £159,489 between 2010 and 2020, with the top 12 roads seeing average sales surpass £1m in that period. Villages in Ormskirk dominated the top end of the list, while Lytham was also well represented.

Properties on Croston Road, Rufford, Ormskirk, sold for an average of £3,341,250 between 2010 and 2020.

The list has been compiled by house price valuation specialists Mouseprice, part of PropertyHeads, a property portal and social network.

Ben Davis, PropertyHeads founder and chief executive officer, said: “The 2010s were one of the craziest periods on record for the housing market and will most likely be remembered for their high house prices.

“The impact has been felt up and down the country and our research into Lancashire’s market serves as evidence of that.”

Properties on Franklin Hill, in the gated community of Brockhall Village, Old Langho, Blackburn, sold for an average of £1,746,800 between 2010 and 2020.
Properties on Halsall Road, Halsall, Ormskirk, sold for an average of £1,723,750 between 2010-20.
Properties on Jackson's Lane, Bispham, Ormskirk, sold for an average of £1,318,500, between 2010 and 2020.
Properties on the new Bennetts Close development, off Wiswell Lane, Whalley, Clitheroe, sold for an average of £1,243,060 between 2010 and 2020.
Properties on St Andrews Road, Lostock, Bolton, sold for an average of £1,187,210 between 2010 and 2020.
Properties on Vanguard Wharf, Lytham, sold for an average of £1,135,206 between 2010 and 2020.
Properties on Church Drive, Lytham, sold for an average of £1,097,167 between 2010 and 2020.
Properties on Black Moor Lane, Mawdesley, Ormskirk, sold for an average of £1,091,250 between 2010 and 2020.
Properties on Red Bank, Red Bank, Bury, sold for an average of £1,071,975 between 2010 and 2020.
Properties on Overhouses, Turton, sold for an average of £1,026,967 between 2010 and 2020.
Properties on Ballam Oaks, an "exclusive development of 12 executive family homes", off Ballam Road, Lytham, sold for an average of £1,002,123 between 2010 and 2020.
