Russell Kane and able to do Chorley theatre gig

Writer, comedian and actor, Russell Kane, is set to appear at Chorley Little Theatre next month.

As part of his ‘Smallness’ tour, the 33-year-old Essex boy, will grace the stage for two nights on January 20 and 21.

Russell said: “What is it with us and smallness?

“We Brits love it - being tiny but fierce, close but distant.”

The award-winning funnyman says he is the same, and he returns with a new blisteringly big-small show.

Watch him spout thoughts about smallness; on keeping things small when life gets big from 8pm.

Kane has appeared on numerous TV panel shows and first entered the mainstream as the presenter of Big Brother’s Big Mouth on E4 and Channel 4 in 2007, following on from fellow Russell, Russell Brand.

He also appeared Down Under on the presenting team of the ITV2 Show – I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here Now, where he co-hosted with Laura Whitmore and Joe Swash for three years.

More recently , Kane has appeared on his very own chat show, Staying In, that he co-hosts with Radio 1 DJ, Greg James.

He also appears on Live At The Electric from Friday January 10 at 11:45pm on BBC Three when he introduces a collection of the brightest and funniest stars in sketch, stand-up, short film and music, and this series will be packed full of even more new talent than ever before
