Former Help the Aged shop manager Gill Couland helped us when she was spotted on our Retro page last month.
Gill was in a photograph holding up a garment in the shop on Market Street, Chorley, where she had just become the new manager.
She rang in explaining: “It was 2000. I had just got married and moved here.
“I had just got a job at The Help the Aged shop in November.”
Gill added: “I had just moved up here from Essex - my husband came from Chorley.
“We met on a cruise - on the old Arcadia cruise ship in the Med. “Prior to that I had my own hairdresser’s business in Yorkshire.
“I went to live in Essex to be near my daughter because I was on my own.”
Originally from Lichfield in Staffordshire, Gill said it was lovely to see the picture again.
Gill, 67 and Jack, 71, now live at The Fields retirement bungalows in Eccleston, where Gill helps out with volunteer work at the centre, such as lunches and coffee mornings.
“It was a surprise,” she said.
“It was one of my colleagues where we are in the senior citizens place who came in with a paper, saying ‘it’s you in the picture.’”
