FREE: Chorley Cycling Grand Prix, Chorley, Sunday, April 15
Head to Chorley town centre to cheer on Britain’s professional cyclists as they race-off on a 116 mile course around the Chorley Borough in the opening round of the British Cycling Elite Road Series for 2018. Chorley Council has teamed up with British Cycling to host the event that will see the country’s top riders and teams battle-it-out over a challenging five-lap route through the Chorley countryside. Starts 11am.

FREE: Nick Oldham, Euxton, Monday, April 16
Retired police Inspector and local author Nick Oldham will be at Euxton Library to talk about his experiences during his time with the police and how these experiences inspired his writing. From 2pm until 3.30pm.

Create your own Lego ‘Milo’, the Mars Rover and then bring him to life using the LEGO Robotics app. For accompanied children aged four and over. At Adlington Library from 3.30pm. Booking required.

Go along to get fit, make friends and explore the countryside with this three to six miles long ramble in Worden/Euxton. Meet at Worden car park in Leyland for a prompt 10am start.
