PAID: LWF Road to the Future, Chorley, Saturday, April 7

The Lancashire Wrestling Federation presents Road To The Future from The Army Reserve Centre in Chorley. This is an event for all the family. Six stars will compete in three semi-final matches for The Castle Cup in memory of former LWF referee Dan Castle. Only three will make it to the Triple Threat Final. Tickets are £10 adult, £7 child, with family tickets available. Open 6pm until 10pm. To book tickets call 07784 537406.

Meet at Hoghton Community Centre on Blackburn Old Road. Starts at 10am prompt. Suitable footwear is essential. Go along to get fit, make friends and explore the countryside.

FREE: Sweet Pea Awareness Day, Chorley, Saturday, April 7

Learn all about sweet peas with friendly experts at The Walled Garden, Astley Park. ​Take part in demonstrations of seed sowing, potting up and planting. From 10.30am until 4pm. Novices and children welcome.

FREE: Off the Track, Chorley, Friday, April 6

Grizzly Promotions and The Railway in Chorley bring you a night of live music including Chorley’s very own Craig Benyon, The Bitter Lake and Northern Sports Club. Music starts at 9pm at The Railway. Hot dogs also available.

FREE: Big and Little Trains Easter Show, Chorley, Saturday, April 7

Chorley and District Model Railway Club are holding a Big and Little train show just for Easter. It runs from 9am until 12pm at Clayton Green Library. Expect model trains galore!
