Red Admiral Music Academy will be giving a brass concert

PAID: All-day Summer Party, Chorley, Saturday, July 14

Marking the start of Summer in style, is this all-day party at Chorley’s iconic Yarrow Mill. Five DJs will be filling their record crates and throwing down new cuts, rarities & classics during a 12-hour back-to-back session. Kicking off at 3pm, we’ll be keeping it funky with an open-air party until 10pm, before heading inside for a series of harder after-dark sets held across two rooms. Advance tickets £5; on-the-door £6.

Brass Band Concert with Lancashire based Red Admiral Music Academy in Chorley Town Hall’s Lancastria Suite. All four bands will perform. Starts 6pm. Tickets: £6 adults; £4 children.​

PAID: Talk by Lavinia Tod, Chorley, Tuesday, July 17

A talk by Lavinia Tod on Tudor origins of words, told in a story of a new middle class family moving from farm to manor. ​​Admission £5. To be held in the Conference Room, Coach House, Astley Hall from 7pm until 8pm.
