Stephanie Foley, who runs Aromaspa, in Harpers Lane, has organised the event at the Best Western Hotel, in Leyland, on Saturday night, with proceeds going towards the Baby Beat Appeal and the Neonatal Unit in Preston.Five years ago Stephanie gave birth to her son, Leo, who was nine weeks premature, weighing just 3lb 12.5oz. But thanks to the excellent care of staff at the Neonatal Unit, he was able to thrive and now she wants to raise funds to support its services. The 33-year-old, of Buckshaw, said: “When Leo was born early we were always positive he would survive, but were worried about any long lasting health affects. He had a set back, but six months later he was fine.“I always said I wanted to do something as a way of helping the unit and thought I would combine it with the 10th anniversary of my salon opening and thank my clients at the same time.”The evening will include drinks on arrival, a meal, a magician and a raffle. All tickets have now been sold to all her clients.Stephanie added: “I have 117 people coming, which fills the room, so I am really pleased.“Each person has paid £20 for a ticket, which goes to the two charities and then for everyone that comes I am paying the extra to cover costs for food and entertainment.“This is my way of giving something back to my customers. During the evening I am holding a raffle. We have some great prizes, including beauty treatments, a hotel stay, afternoon tea and car valeting service. We also have a chocolate fountain and a magician, which will be great fun.“I am really looking forward to the night and I hope it will be a great success. I hope to raise a lot of money for the two charities, as the Neonatal Unit was such a great support and comfort to me when Leo was born.”Aromaspa, 25 Harpers Lane, Chorley, offers facial treatments, eye lash and nail extensions, spray tans, HD brows, waxing and massages.
