Thousands of people saw Chorley’s historic Astley Hall in a different “light” at the weekend.
The building was lit up with LED spotlights and more than 200 candles for the return of Astley Illuminated on Saturday and Sunday.
More than 4,700 visitors enjoyed the colourful lights, as well as a host of entertainment organised by Chorley Council and the Friends Of Astley Hall.
Funding from Arts Council England meant there were dramatic live dance performances and original music from La Petite Mort Theatre.
There were also screenings of a specially-commissioned film from Zemap productions.
The free event was one of a series of celebrations to mark the festive season.
