Chorley Football Club now have a life-saving BOC Lifeline Oxygen kit, thanks to sponsorship from Chorley Supporters Trust.
Accepting the Lifeline kit on behalf of Chorley FC, physio Danny Fishwick said: “Oxygen is part of the lifesaving equipment that is becoming more and more important in football these days.
“With on-field deaths in football at its highest that it has ever been, the need for this equipment is at its greatest.
“It also shows that the club is going in the right direction on all counts, the fans, the trust, the ground and the players and staff – the medical side of things will now be coming up to the level of National League and League Two teams.
“With our first aid team all trained to use the Lifeline kit, we will be prepared for any emergency where oxygen is required.”
The Lifeline is a portable lifesaving kit allowing oxygen to be administered quickly when needed.
Chorley Supporters Trust decided to sponsor this equipment as part of its commitment to work with Chorley FC to improve the match day experience.
In recent years the trust has sponsored a new public address system and disabled access to the social club at Victory Park.
