Louise Newton, manager at the Bamber Bridge site, said: “This award is down to the strong, dedicated and passionate team of staff and the relatives who gave us such fabulous support and feedback. “Carehome.co.uk asks for reviews about care homes, what experiences people have of who lives there or their relatives. “We have had the most positive reviews and I think this is the best award you can have as it comes from those using the service or the family member, which is a compliment in it’s truest form. “Brookside has won three years running which is amazing.”To honour the win the care home organised a celebration event, with former Chorley Mayor, Coun Doreen Dickinson, as guest of honour to present the award.Louise added: “A great time was had by all and we asked the Mayor to formally present our award to make it more special for us. “We enjoyed a barbecue despite the rain - we didn’t let that dampen our spirits and we thoroughly enjoyed being entertained by Mr John Wane who played tribute to Elvis. We even asked an ice cream van to call so we could buy one.“A big thank you goes to every one involved and the photos attached just show what a great time we had.”
