A Chorley man says there is only one destination you need to visit when deciding where to go on holiday - Buckshaw Travel.
Paul Peckham, 48, has just set up his own travel company based in his home on Hollands Way in Buckshaw Village along with his wife Rachel.
He wants to use his years of experience in the trade to help try to find people in Chorley their ideal holiday after missing the buzz of booking holidays.
He said: “I have been working in the public sector over the past decade and with the current spending cuts we have decided to set up our own business.
“We are doing it because we love travelling the world and seeing different places or things. Everyone enjoys talking about holidays especially where they have been and that is why I wanted to set up this business.
“There have been about 10 bookings since we started to go to New York, Malta and the Canary Islands and the customers have been really happy. We are now just working to market ourselves to Chorley people and let them know that we are there.”
Buckshaw Travel is part of the Explorer Travel division which means they can pick up all the top deals and cater for the tourists every need.
Paul says that what makes them different is their attention to detail. We can compete with the larger travel agents by emailing or contacting the hotels to say that our clients are coming.”
