A major recruitment drive offering more than 60 jobs is being held for a Lancashire firm.

Chorley Council has teamed up with Adlington-based Fairpoint Group, which specialises in debt management, claims and legal services.

Fairpoint is a major employer in Chorley and is looking to expand as its services grow.

The recruitment drive on May 18 at the town hall will be a showcase of more than 60 new employment opportunities currently available within the company.

Fairpoint is actively recruiting local people for these jobs to meet its expansion requirements and jobs are available across all service areas from front line to senior management.

Coun Alistair Bradley, Chorley Council leader, said: “We are delighted to work with Fairpoint to organise this event. The company is a major employer in the borough and is wanting to recruit local people as its business expands.

“One of our key priorities has always been to get local people into work, so we will do all we can to help local businesses grow and succeed and one way we can help Fairpoint at this time is to organise this recruitment drive on their behalf.”

The event will be held at The Lancastrian, Chorley Town Hall, and there will be information sessions at 2pm or 6pm for both job seekers or those looking for a change in career.

Visitors to either of the sessions will be able to drop off a CV, learn about life at the Fairpoint Group, find out about jobs/and shift patterns available, hear from Fairpoint employees, meet line managers or even have an on the spot interview on the day if appropriate.
