Burglars are thought to have targeted several firms on a Chorley business park.

They attempted to get inside buildings on Chorley Central Business Park, on Stump Lane, on Saturday night or early on Sunday morning.

They cut through security fencing and managed to get inside Thermagas, which moved to the site just weeks ago to make way for the new Asda supermarket.

Mobile phones, laptop computers and a small amount of money was taken.

The burglars caused damage by setting off a fire extinguisher.

They attempted to get inside other businesses, including Chorley Roofline and the Green Printer Company.

Nothing was taken from these firms.

Anyone with information about the incidents are asked to call police on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
