A man has been caught driving without the relevant licence or insurance. The case of Lewis Abram, 25, from Anderton Street, Chorley, was proved in his absence. He was caught driving in Hamilton Road, Chorley, and was fined £660. Six points were also added to his licence, and he must pay a victim surcharge of £66, costs of £85, and a criminal courts charge of £150.

A driver has pleaded guilty to breaking a 30mph speed limit in Clayton-le-Woods. Andrew David Clowes, 44, from Aycliffe Drive, Buckshaw Village, has been fined £80. He must also pay a £20 victim surcharge, and three points were added to his licence.

A man who drove without insurance has been fined £660. David Collins, 33, from Spendmore Lane, Coppull, must also pay a £66 victim surcharge, £85 in court costs, and a £150 criminal courts charge. The case was proved in his absence. Six points were added to his licence.

A Chorley woman has confessed to breaking a 30mph speed limit in Blackpool. Virginia Mason, 40, from Ashby Street, has been fined £40, and made to pay a victim surcharge of £20 and costs of £85. Three points were also added to her licence.

A woman has been fined £80 after failing to buy a £4.30 train ticket. Samantha Walker, 21, from Croft Road, Chorley, pleaded guilty to travelling without paying the fare. She must also pay compensation of £4.30, a victim surcharge of £20, costs of £100, and a criminal courts charge of £150.

A man has been fined £300 for driving faster than a 30mph speed limit. Steve Ricardo, 42, from Rivington Road, Chorley, pleaded guilty. Four points were added to his licence, and he must also pay victim surcharge of £30 and costs of £85.
