A woman has pleaded guilty to damaging three cupboard doors, one drawer and a front door of a Chorley Community Housing Association property. Zoie McGill, 21, of Halliwell Street, was fined £80, and ordered to pay compensation of £250, as well as a victim surcharge of £20 and costs of £85.

A community order has been placed against a man who possessed four bags of crack cocaine and one bag of heroin of diamorphine. Adam Ivan James Cadman, 21, from Pall Mall, Chorley, admitted to the charge. He will be electronically monitored under curfew for three months, and must pay a £60 victim surcharge.

A speeding driver has been fined £265 and had five points added to her licence. Lesley Heyworth, 41, from Springfield Road, Coppull, confessed to breaking a 30mph speed limit. She must also pay a victim surcharge of £27 and £85 costs.

A 75-year-old has been banned from driving for 12 months after he got behind the wheel under the influence of alcohol. James Ibar Loughlin, from Brookside, Euxton, was caught drink-driving in Church Walk, Euxton. He pleaded guilty, and was fined £120. He must also pay costs of £85, and a criminal courts charge of £20.

A teenager stole £255 of Grey Goose vodka and Makers Mark Bourbon on two separate occasions from Asda in Chorley. Aaron Michael Richardson, 19, from Clarence Street, Chorley, pleaded guilty. He must pay compensation of £255, a victim surcharge of £15, and costs of £85, discharged conditionally for 12 months.

A woman was found driving around Tesco’s car park in Chorley under the influence of alcohol. Amanda Jane Rankin, 42, from Briar Avenue, Euxton, pleaded guilty. She has been banned from driving for 17 months, and was fined £440. She must also pay a victim surcharge of £44 as well as costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
