Stuart Alfred Anthony Lord, 47, of Hollinshead Street, Chorley, was sent to prison for two weeks by Chorley magistrates for stealing headphones worth £40 from Asda. He also had to pay £115 victim surcharge. The offence was committed on February 26 whilst he was serving a suspended sentence.

Craig Jeffery Carl Worswick, 39, of Hollinshead Street, Chorley, was fined £80 by Chorley magistrates for attempting to steal eight bottles of vodka to the value of £132 belonging to Morrisons. He had to pay a £30 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. The offence happened on February 22, whilst he was serving a conditional discharge.

David Anderson, 38, of Royal Avenue, Leyland, was disqualified from driving for six months by Chorley magistrates for driving at a speed exceeding the legal 30mph failing to give information relating to the driver of a vehicle, who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence. He was also fined £660, and had to pay £85 court costs and £66 victim surcharge. His record was endorsed. The offence happened on June 11 last year in London Road, Preston.

Craig Liptrot, 35, of Vicarage Crescent, Coppull, was fined £63 by Chorley magistrates for driving at a speed exceeding the legal 30mph. He also had to pay £85 court costs and £30 victim surcharge. His record was endorsed woth three points. The offence happened on the A6 Bengal Street near Gas Building, on July 1 last year.

Jason Hill, 43, of Larchwood Crescent, Leyland, was fined £660 by Preston magistrates for failing to give information relating to the driver of a vehicle, who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence. He had to pay £85 court costs and £66 victim surcharge. His record was endorsed with six points, The offence happened in Preston on October 9.
