Joanne Brockley, 41, of Meadow Street, Wheelton, was given an eight-week prison sentence, suspended for 24 months, by Preston magistrates for stalking and for assaulting a police officer. She also had to pay £115 victim surcharge and £120 court costs. She also has a restraining order. The stalking offences happened between July 15 and November 27 and the assault happened on November 7.

Beth Barnes, 23, of Buttermere Avenue, Chorley, was given a community order with a curfew and electronic tagging for assaulting a police officer and being drunk and disorderly in public. Preston magistrates also ordered her to pay £50 compensation, £85 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. The offence happened in December 3 in Chorley.

Marc Edwin Hughes, 30, of Seven Stars Road, Leyland, was fined £660 by Preston magistrates for failing to give information relating to the identification of the driver of a vehicle, who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence. He alo had to pay £85 court costs and £66 victim surcharge. His record was endorsed with six points. The offence happened on August 10.

Matthew John Steventon, 40, of Lancaster Street, Coppull, was disqualified from driving for 36 months for driving whilst under the influence of alcohol. He also fined £216 and had to pay £85 court costs. He was also given a community order with an alcohol rehabilitation requirement. The offence happened in Lancaster Street, Coppull, on December 3. His driving record was endorsed with points.

Sean Daniel McLaughlin, 40, of Gloucester Road, Chorley, was fined £40 for being drunk and disorderly in public. He also had to pay £30 victim surcharge and had to pay £85 court costs. The offence happened in Pall Mall, Chorley, on December 11.
