A man who made threats to pour paint stripper over a Chorley man’s vehicle has been given a curfew and a restraining order.Aaron James Whitney, 20, of Belmont Road, Fleetwood, admitted making threats to commit criminal damage during an incident in the town on March 30.The bench at Preston Magistrates’ Court ordered him to pay an £85 surcharge and £85 costs.

Marlon Luke Cross, 32, of Shep Hill Brow, Clayton-le-Woods, Chorley, was jailed for 42 days after flouting a restraining order.

Wayne Stanley Ersmann, 33, of Old School Mews, Chorley, was bound over for a year in the sum of £100 after admitting breaching the peace.

Liam Graeme Turner, 28, of Bleasdale Close, Leyland, was disqualified from driving for 56 days by Chorley magistrates for not having insurance. He also had to pay £330 fine, £33 victim surcharge and £150 court costs. The offence happed on September 30.

Stephen Leigh, 57, of The Martindales, Clayton Le Woods, was given a community order with an electronic curfew for causing criminal damage and harassment. He had to pay £50 compensation and was given a restraining order. The offence happened in Leyland from March 30 to March 31. He was also brought before Chorley magistrates for being drunk and disorderly at Chorley Hospital, for which he was given a conditional discharge. This happened on April 3.

Lisa McFarland, 32, of Bashall Grove, Leyland, was sent to prison for eight weeks by Preston magistrates for stealing alcohol worth £53 from B&M Bargains in Preston. She was also charged with assaulting a man. She had to pay £50 compensation. The offence happened April 13. She was also charged with damaging a car and fence panels on April 11. She had to pay £150 compensation.
