Robert Frederick Baker, 20, of Letchworth Drive, Chorley, was fined £138 by Chorley magistrates for driving without due care and attention and failing to stop when required by a police constable.

He was also had to pay £30 victim surcharge and £350 court costs. His driving record was endorsed with six points. The offence happened in Eaves Green, Chorley, on December 2 last year.

John Charles Gilliver, 61, of Hays Barn, Heapey, was fined £320 by Chorley magistrates for driving at a speed exceeding the legal 30mph. He also had to pay £32 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. He was disqualified from driving for six months and his record endorsed with three points. The offence happened in Morecambe Road, Morecambe, on November 17.

Benjamin Noel Tuson, 32, of Sevenoaks, Chorley, was fined £107 for driving without wearing a seat belt when he appeared at Chorley Magistrates’ Court. He also had to pay £85 court costs and £30 victim surcharge. The offence happened in Chorley Road on May 18.

Craig Unsworth, 22, of Rangletts Avenue, Chorley, was fined £120 by Chorley magistrates for driving without valid insurance and licence. He also had to pay £30 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. His driving record was endorsed with eight points. The offence happened in Babylon Lane on November 6.

Suzanne Tracey Smith, 48, of Eaves Green Road, Chorley, appeared before Preston Magistrates’ Court for failing to promptly notify the Department for Work and Pensions about a change of circumstances which would affect Jobseekers Allowance. She was given a conditional discharge for 12 months and ordered to pay £20 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. The offence happened between October 2015 and March 2016.
