Mark Terence Cropper, 52, of Lakeland Gardens, Chorley, appeared before Preston Magistrates’ Court, charged with assault and criminal damage to a door, to the value of £100.He was given a restraining order and had to pay £166 fine, £30 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. The offence happened in Chorley on February 27.

Claire Marie Donohue, 32, of Heapey Road, Chorley, was fined £120 by Chorley magistrates for failing to stop after driving and causing an accident to another vehicle. She was also ordered to pay £30 victim surcharge and £100 court costs. Her driving record was endorsed with eight points. The offence occurred in Botany Brow on October 23.

Alan Jeffrey Bywater, 82, of Coniston Avenue, Euxton, was fined £120 at Chorley Magistrates’ Court for driving without due care and attention. He also had to pay £30 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. His driving record was endorsed with nine points. The offence happened in Bolton Road, Preston, on June 27.

Ronald Williams, 28, of Mill Street, Coppull, was fined £250 by Chorley magistrates for driving without valid insurance.He also had to pay £30 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. He was disqualified from driving for six months. The offence occurred in Mill Street, on September 1.

Marshall John Carter, 39, of Patricroft Drive, Buckshaw Village, was fined £660 by Preston magistrates for failing to give information relating to the identification of the driver of a vehicle, who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence. He also had to pay £66 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. His driving record was endorsed with six points.The offence happened on August 23,
