Richard Jeffrey Gamble, 50, of Pall Mall, Chorley, admitted driving whilst under the influence of alcohol when he appeared at Chorley Magistrates’ Court. The offence happened in Collison Avenue, Chorley, on October 20. He was fined £260 and had to pay £30 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. He was disqualified from holding a driving licence for 17 months.

Lewis Stephen Wood, 22, of Barn Croft, Leyland, was fined £40 by Chorley magistrates for possessing a controlled Class A drug - cocaine. The offence happened on September 3. He also had to pay £30 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.

Neal Pearson, 41, of Lower Bank Street, Withnell, was fined £510 for driving whilst under the influence of alcohol in Clifford Street, Chorley, on April 16. Chorley magistrates also ordered him yo pay £51 victim surcharge and £100 court costs. He was also disqualified from driving for 12 months.

Brendan Luke Benson, 21, of Wood Green, Leyland, was fined £440 at Chorley Magistrates’ Court for driving along Mere Brow on Match 17 without valid insurance and an MOT test certificate. He also had to pay £44 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. His driving record was endorsed with six points.

Andrew Carter, 45, of Cunningham Avenue, Chorley, was fined £105 by Chorley magistrates for not wearing a seat belt whilst driving in Blackburn on February 3. He had to pay £20 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.

Mark McGuinness, 39, of Withnell Grove, Chorley, was fined £660 by Chorley magistrates for failing to give information relating to the identification of the driver of a vehicle, who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence, which occurred on March 8. He also had to pay £66 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. His driving record was endorsed with six points.
