Rian Thomas Mcfayden Winspare, 25, of Seymour Street, Chorley, was spent to prison for 12 weeks for driving whilst under the influence of alcohol and without a licence. Ben Hogarth, 36, of Cliffe Drive, Whittle-le-Woods, was fined £547 by Chorley magistrates for driving at a speed exceeding the legal 70mph on the motorway. He also had to pay £54 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. His record was endorsed with six points. The offence happened on the M55 near Blackpool on April 8.

Gavin Mills, 28, of Moss Terrace, Whittle-le-Woods, was fined £220 by Preston magistrates for using a mobile phone whilst driving. He also had to pay £30 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. His record was endorsed with six points. The offence happened in Whittingham Lane, Goosnargh, on April 5.

Craig Higham, 36, of Northgate, Chorley, was disqualified from driving for 14 days for not having insurance. He had to pay £253 fine, £85 costs and £30 victim surcharge. His record was endorsed. The offence happened in Shepherds way, Chorley, on March 22.

James Ronald, of Mendip Road, Leyland, was fined £220 for not meeting the insurance requirements for his vehicle. He had to pay £30 victim surcharge and £110 costs. The offence happened on April 24.

Robin Patrick Beckett, 32, of Seven Acres, Clayton Brook, was given a community order for assaulting a woman and resisting arrest. He also had to pay £85 victim surcharge, £85 court costs and £200 fine. The offence happened on September 22.
