Chorley restaurant The Red Cat is celebrating its latest raft of awards.
The modern British eaterie has been awarded two AA Rosettes and will be featured in the organisation's prestigious Restaurant Guide, released later this year.
And just a week after the anonymous AA inspection, The Red Cat was presented with a Taste Lancashire Highest Quality Assured award, after another mystery diner visited from Lancashire and Blackpool Tourist Board.
The two AA Rosettes recognise excellent restaurants with consistent, precise cooking and a commitment to high quality ingredients.
The Red Cat is one of only a few across Lancashire to have received the highest award (above 80 per cent).
Manager Mike Rawlinson, 28, set up the restaurant on Blackburn Road, Whittle-le-Woods, four years ago, along with his brother, award-winning chef Chris Rawlinson, 25.
"We aim to consistently provide our customers with the highest quality food and service and it is fantastic for that to be recognised with these awards," Mike commented.
"It is a great achievement and something that all the team here are really proud of, but we won't rest easy and will continue to give our customers an outstanding dining experience every time."
The Red Cat was mentioned in the Michelin Guide 2009 and 2010 and is one of just three restaurants in the region to have attained two or more AA Rosettes.
