Families are invited to enjoy a day of free fun and activities at Chorley Council’s annual Playday.

Playday offers a jam-packed day of family fun at Coronation Recreation Ground, on Devonshire Road, Chorley, on Wednesday, August 6.

From 11am to 3pm, there will circus skills, balloon modelling, arts and crafts, football, bowling, rock climbing and more. A teddy bear’s picnic starts at 12.30pm.

Coun Peter Wilson, who is responsible for events at the council, said: “Over 1,000 people turned out for the event last year and we hope to see even more this year. Bring the whole family and a picnic and come and join in lots of free activities.”
