A TASTE of Wetherfield came to Chorley on Saturday - and we’re not talking about Betty’s famous hotpot.
Coronation Street’s Maureen and Reg Holdsworth, played by actors Sherrie Hewson and Ken Morley, were reunited in town on Saturday for the grand opening of a new Chorley housing development.
Ken, who lives in Whittle-le-Woods, was in typically vintage form. They opened the 66-home Village Garden, which is a Fellows Home development.
Over the weekend the public were able to enjoy an an exclusive view of the homes on offer and the chance win £1,000 in a free prize draw.
The Village Garden offers a range of houses from two-bed starter homes up to four-bedroom family homes.
