THREE men have been charged in connection with allegations a woman was imprisoned against her will and sexually assaulted in Chorley.

Neil Baines, 29, of Delamere Place, Wayne Baines, 41, of Thornhill Road, and Carl Speak, 44, of Lyons Lane, all Chorley, will appear before Preston Crown Court on August 23.

DEAN Taylor , 42, of Railway Street, Chorley, was jailed for 20 weeks by magistrates after admitting assaulting a female PC on July 10.

He must also pay a £115 surcharge.

CHRISTOPHER Astley, 36, of Lawrence Close, Eccleston, Chorley, admitted selling counterfeit branded General Motors and BMW car mats on the online auction site eBay.

Chorley magistrates ruled he must pay a £370 fine, £250 costs and a £37 surcharge after he was caught out by Trading Standards.
