32-year-old in serious condition after being stabbed in Chorley

A man is in a serious condition in hospital after he was stabbed in Chorley yesterday (Sunday, March 21).

Police and ambulance crews were called to the stabbing at a home in Eaves Lane shortly before 5pm.

A 32-year-old man was found with a stab wound to the chest and was taken by ambulance to Royal Preston Hospital.

He was later transferred to Blackpool Victoria Hospital where he remains in a serious but stable condition.

Police say an investigation is underway and enquiries are ongoing.
