Burglars steal jewellery after smashing patio door of Chorley home in 'broad daylight'

Police are keen to identify a woman and a grey BMW after jewellery was stolen from a home in Chorley.

The offenders gained entry to the address in Washington Lane, Euxton, by smashing a patio door at the rear of the property on Tuesday, March 2.

A number of items of jewellery were stolen once they were inside, police said.

Officers are now keen to trace a Grey BMW and a woman who was seen in the area between 3pm and 5pm on the day of the incident.

PC Kirsty Norris, of Lancashire Police, said: "This offence occurred during the hours of daylight and I would ask residents of the area to check their dash cams and domestic CCTV systems."
