Melissa Quinn, 25, of Holmes Meadow, Leyland, was given a community order for five counts of being in charge of a dangerous dog out of control, injuring a man, woman and terrier dog. She was given a curfew and rehabilitation order. The dog, a Staffordshire bull terrier, is to be kept in a muzzle when in public and must be housed in a secure place. She had to pay £3,459 compensation. The offence happened on August 5 in Cocker Lane, Leyland.

Amy Elisabeth Barlow, 24, of Dalton Fold, Leyland, was fined £221 by Preston magistrates for assaulting a police officer. She also had to pay £50 compensation, £85 court costs and £30 victim surcharge, The offence happened in Leyland on October 14.

Jason James Budgeon, 32, of Liptrott Road, Chorley, was given a community order with rehabilitation by Preston magistrates for assaulting a woman and damaging a car door to the value of £150. He was also ordered to pay £200 compensation, £50 fine, £85 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. The offence happened on November 7.

Christine Earnshaw, 55, of Blackburn Road, Whittle-le-Woods, was disqualified from driving for 20 months for driving whilst under the influence of alcohol. She was also fined £283 and had to pay £30 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. Her driving recprd was endorsed. The offence happened in Preston Road, Chorley, on October 22.

Connor Lee Mason, 26, of Hudson Drive, Buckshaw Village, was disqualified from driving for 40 months for driving whilst under the influence of alcohol and without due care and attention. He was also charged with failing to have a valid MOT certificate. He was fined £430 and had to pay £85 victim surcharge and £43 court costs. His record was endorsed, The offence happened in Liverpool Road, Preston, on October 20.
