Concern grows for missing worker

Police say they are 'extremely concerned' for the safety of a 34-year-old man who vanished a week ago.

Officers say Iulian Dionisie was seen around 6am last Saturday at his workplace in Hundred End Lane, Hesketh Bank and later using a cash machine outside the Co-op in Banks..

Iulian, who lives in Banks, has not been in contact with any of his family or friends for the past seven days.

“We are extremely concerned for his wellbeing,” said a police spokesman.

PC Lee Tickle from Ormskirk Police said: “We are urgently trying to find Iulian and so if you have seen him, or know where he is, please contact us immediately.”

He is described as white, around 5ft 6ins, with a tanned complexion. He was last seen wearing black rock style boots, cream jeans and a black top. He may also have had a blue bike with him.
