Lancashire man wanted for breaching suspended prison sentence arrested after public appeal

A man who was wanted by Lancashire Police after breaching his suspended prison sentence has been arrested.

Alexander Sands, of no fixed address, was given a suspended sentence in 2021 for possessing an imitation firearm with intent as well as offering to supply cannabis.

Police on Wednesday (August 17) launched an appeal to find the 29-year-old after he breached the terms of his suspended prison sentence.

On Monday (August 22), officers confirmed Sands had been arrested and was in custody.

“Thank you to everyone who shared our appeal,” a spokesman for Lancashire Police said.
