Man bitten on nose at Chorley taxi rank

A man was attacked and bitten on the nose at a taxi rank in Chorley.

The assault happened on New Year’s Day, at some point after midnight but before 1.30am, at the taxi rank on Market Walk outside the Henry Tate Pub.

A 35-year-old man from Chorley was left needing stitches, after another man attacked and bit him on the nose.

Police are now appealing for witnesses.

PC Emma Jackson of Chorley Police said: “We are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed what happened to get in touch.
