Man stabbed in Preston as crime scenes remain cordoned off in Bow Lane and Marsh Lane

The man, aged in his 30s, was found with a significant leg wound outside a building in Bow Lane at 12.07am.
He was taken to Royal Preston Hospital for emergency treatment whilst police closed Bow Lane and cordoned off a building near the junction with School Street.

Hide AdTheir investigations soon led them to West Strand, across Guild Way, where an earlier altercation between the man and his attacker is believed to have taken place.
West Strand and the adjacent Marsh Lane were then closed whilst a crime scene investigation was set up outside an NHS office building.
Police remain at both scenes this morning and the buildings have been cordoned off with tape.
Lancashire Police say no arrests have been made at this stage.

Hide AdA police spokesman said: "We were called at 12.07am today (March 25) to reports of an assault in Bow Lane, Preston.
"When emergency services have arrived they have found a man in his 30s with a significant stab wound to his leg.
"He was taken to hospital for treatment. It is believed his injuries relate to an earlier altercation in West Strand and we currently have a scene in place there.
"No arrests have been made at this stage and enquiries are ongoing.

Police closed Bow Lane in both directions, from A59 Ring Way to Fishergate Hill at around 12.30am, whilst emergency services responded.
Marsh Lane was also closed overnight, between Strand Road and Guild Way, before both roads were reopened at 7.45am.
