A man accused of fraud offences linked to rogue trading allegations is to face a trial on September 1.

Daniel William Austin Ward, 33, currently of HMP Holme House, in Stockton-on-Tees, is accused of two counts of fraud by false representation and two of possessing criminal property and possessing an article for use in the course of a fraud.

The allegations relate to a period between August 18 and September 28 in 2018, when it is alleged Ward misquoted the extent of work needing to be carried out on a property in Morecambe, intending to gain £10,710.
