Police appeal following Adlington collision
Lancashire Police are appealing for witnesses following a collision in Adlington.
Police were called to Market Street at 9:25pm last Sunday (April 1) after reports of a Ford Focus colliding with an unattended parked vehicle.
The driver of the Focus - a woman in her 70s - suffered serious injuries and had to be taken to Royal Preston Hospital where she remains in a serious but stable condition.
PC Amanda Bond, of Lancashire’s Road Policing Unit, said: “We’re looking to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident, or who may have seen the vehicle in the minutes leading up to it.”
