Police are appealing for the public's help after a man was allegedly seen performing a sex act on a Lancashire bus.

The incident is reported to have happened on a bus in the Ramsbottom area as it headed towards Haslingden.

Lancashire Police has issued a picture of a passenger they would like to speak to in connection with the incident.

A police spokesman said: "Can you help us identify this man?"We would like speak to him following reports a man was seen performing a sex act onboard a bus in the Ramsbottom area."The incident was reported to have occurred shortly before 5pm on March 10 on the X41 bus, as it travelled along the A56 towards Haslingden."We would now like to speak to the man pictured in connection with the incident, and are appealing for the public’s help identifying him."PC Pete Mather, of Rossendale Police, added: "We would like to speak to this man as part of our enquiries and are asking anybody with information about who he may be to get in touch as soon as possible."Anybody with information is asked to call 101, quoting log number 1074 of March 10.
