Preston court: pensioner from Lostock Hall charged with sex attack and assault

The man who is aged 76 and is from Lostock Hall, appeared at a shorting hearing before Preston Magistrates Court.

A pensioner from Preston has been charged with sexually assaulting a woman.

Barry Stuart is also accused of assaulting by beating a named victim during an incident on April 15 in Preston. The 76-year-old, from Lostock Hall Court, Lostock Hall, appeared before magistrates in Preston for a hearing on April 26.

He did not enter a plea. Mr Stuart is alleged to have to sexually assaulted a woman aged over 16, who cannot be named for legal reasons, on April 14 this year. He is also said to have assaulted a woman on the following day in Preston.

He was remanded on bail until May 26 when he must appear again at Preston Magistrates Court.
