Shop phone thieves had ‘cutting equipment’

THIEVES armed with cutting equipment have targeted an electrical store in Chorley, police said today.

Officers are appealing for information following the theft of two mobile phones from the Currys and PC World outlet at the Alliance Retail Park in Water Street. The thieves struck some time, between 12.30pm and 1pm on Sunday, November 8, and stole a grey i-Phone 6 and a gold i-Phone 6 were from the display.

Cutting equipment was used to remove the phones from security wiring before the offenders left the store.
