A large police presence was reported at an address on Watkin Lane in Lostock Hall at around 10pm yesterday (February 27).
Three cars and one police van were spotted by residents, and images from the scene show officers entering a property.

Hide AdLancashire Police have now confirmed they were responding to a concern for welfare.
A spokesperson for Lancashire Police said: "Looks like a concern for welfare call.
"We wouldn’t release any further details."
Police are currently unable to provide any more information about the incident.
A welfare check, also known as a wellness check, is when police stop by a person’s home to make sure they are okay.
Requests for welfare checks are made by friends, family, and neighbours, typically after someone unexpectedly stops answering their phone or getting in touch with others.
