Tickets for his stand-up show, Dave Spikey and Friends, sold out within 15 minutes when they went on sale on Monday, so he has announced an extra performance.

The Whittle-le-Woods-based funnyman will perform at Chorley Little Theatre on Thursday, February 4, alongside fellow Phoenix Nights stars Janice Connolly and Ted Robbins, as well as comedians Steve Royle and Mike Wilkinson.

His 7.30pm show is sold-out, but tickets are now on sale for an extra performance at 4pm.

All the money raised will go to the charity set up in Croston to help residents and businesses affected by the recent floods.

Tickets were allocated to those affected by the flooding first, before the remainder went on general sale.

Tickets are £20 from Malcolm’s Musicland - 01257 264362.
