The funeral of a Chorley dad who died after collapsing at a rugby match will take place on Monday.
Dad-of-two Mark Evans died of a suspected heart attack on September 9, just before the Wigan Warriors game against the Crusaders.
He was taken to the Royal Albert Wigan Infirmary, where his wife Sam was told the sad news.
His funeral is being held at 9am at the Sacred Heart Church, Chorley, on September 19.
It’s being organised by B.Livesey funeral directors, and donations for Chorley Panthers rugby club and the RNLI should be made payable to Mrs Evans.
