POLICE are growing concerned for the welfare of a 44-year-old man missing since last weekend.

Mark Higham, 44, from Westhoughton, Lancs, was last seen at a relative’s house on Greenbarn Way, Blackrod, near Chorley at about 4.30pm on Sunday, 18 August 2013.

Mark is described as white, about 5ft 7in tall with a slim build and shaven black hair. When last seen he was wearing an oatmeal-coloured jacket with a brown fur hood and a black fleece, jeans and white trainers.

Detective Sergeant Rob Parker, based at Bolton, said: “Mark’s family are desperately worried about him as this is out-of-character.

“Mark has been suffering from depression lately and has a number of medical issues. He does not have his medication with him.

“If anyone knows of Mark’s whereabouts then please call police on 101.”
