Firefighters rescue casualty from house fire in Morecambe
The victim was given oxygen by fire crews at the the house in Regent Park Avenue before paramedics arrived.
A Lancashire Fire and Rescue Services spokesman said: “Three fire crews from Morecambe and Lancaster attended reports of a domestic building fire on Regent Park Avenue, Morecambe where it was believed there was a casualty unable to get out of the property.

Hide Ad“Firefighters rescued the casualty from the ground floor of the property and used breathing apparatus and a hose reel to extinguish the fire.
“A ventilation fan was also in use to clear the property of smoke.”
The blaze happened at just after 12 midnight today - Wednesday, August 1.
