Halloween at Pet's Corner

Boo Fest, Botany Bay

Friday October 28 to Monday, October 31

Children are invited to join in spooky activities, including a pumpkin hunt and a carving workshop, which costs £3. On Friday and Monday, Colour the Clouds will host free spooky story-telling sessions. Crocodile Joe and his reptile friends will be around on Saturday, whilst Spiderman and Batman will drop in on Sunday, alongside craft and face painting sessions.

Lest We Forget, South Ribble Museum and Exhibition Centre, Saturday, October 29

Gordon Bartley will present an illustrated talk to commemorate the First World War at the exhibition centre, Church Road, Leyland at 11am.

Ghastly Astley, October 30 and 31

Night tours of Astley Hall will be held from October 30 to 31 from 5pm until 6pm. Booking is essential at ¬£5, by emailing [email protected] Youngsters can dress up and enjoy free activities from noon until 4pm.

Halloween at Pets Corner, October 29 until October 31

Pets Corner, in Astley Park, Chorley, is holding a number of activities between Thursday October 29 and Monday October 31. Activities include a spider treasure hunt, dangly balloon bugs and pumpkin carving.

A Nightmare on the Green, Brown Cow, Eccleston, Saturday October 29

Live music from Into The Void - The Music of Black Sabbath. Trick or Treat with your first drink, finger food, pumpkin soup, speciality drinks. Optional fancy dress - free entry. Open from 7pm.
