Have your say on council plans to boost employment

The borough's authority is seeking views on a document which has been drawn up aimed at boosting employment and skills across Central Lancashire.

Chorley Council want to hear opinions from the general public on a proposal to require developers to include an employment skills statement when they submit planning applications for commercial and housing developments of a certain size.

It hopes the move will ensure the right skills and employment opportunities are provided as it is keen to encourage economic growth that benefits the people and businesses in the borough.
