An award-winning garden at RHS Chelsea Flower Show has a chance to win another honour.
Chorley Council’s first ever exhibit in the show, The Evaders Garden, has already been awarded a silver gilt medal, the second highest accolade available.
It was designed by John Everiss, from Chorley, and tells the story of his grandfather Stan Everiss, an RAF navigator during the Second World War who was injured when his plane came down in France in 1943.
But a French family helped Stan to hide and he eventually made it home to England.
The garden, which is in the artisan section of the show, is now being considered for the people’s choice award.
People can vote for the garden by going to www.rhs.org.uk/shows-events/rhs-chelsea-flower-show/gardens/Peoples-Choice.
